The Upside-Down Tree – Baobab
When planted by God, it kept walking, so God pulled it up and replanted it upside down to stop it from moving — so the legend goes.
Adansonia is a genus of deciduous trees known as baobabs. They are found in arid regions of Madagascar, mainland Africa, Arabia, and Australia.
Bryan Morse is the former Director of the Gardens and CEO of Alta Vista Botanical Gardens in Vista, CA. He is an Environmental Artist-Contractor with over fourty years experience in custom landscape design and construction.
